CXO Project Manager Summary
The CXO Project Manager at BRITE plays a critical role in the success of the CXO program, which is a fractional executive program serving startups and diversifying companies that have a solid foundation built and are ready to accelerate their growth. This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various projects within the program, ensuring that all client engagements are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fractional executives, consultants, and administrative staff, to drive operational efficiency and supporting the team to meet client delivery needs.

LOCATION: Our organization is headquartered in Warren, OH and serves a vast geography both in-person and virtually. This position is hybrid. It is estimated that this person requires one (1) day of being at in-person gatherings each month at various metropolitan areas, namely across Ohio. A few in-person training days annually are required. Access to a co-working facility may be arranged.

The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fractional executives, consultants, and administrative staff, to drive operational efficiency and supporting the team to meet client delivery needs.
Duties of the Position
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Project Planning & Execution – 25%
- Manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for client engagements.
- Coordinate with fractional executives to allocate resources and assign tasks.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Client Relationship Management – 15%
- Work with the CXO team to make sure that any agreed upon deliverables are met.
- Help CXO team track, address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly.
Team Coordination & Leadership – 15%
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including fractional executives, consultants, and administrative staff.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure clear communication across all parties.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure project success.
Budget and Risk Management – 10%
- Manage project budgets, ensuring all projects are completed within the allocated financial resources.
- Track expenses, prepare financial reports, and forecast future project costs.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive steps to address any issues.
Reporting, Documentation and Quality Assurance – 25%
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to the Director and other stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, project plans, and client communications.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and implement improvements as needed.
Process Improvement – 10%
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies.
- Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
- Work Closely with the CXOs daily with frequent check-ins with clients. This individual also works closely with the Innovation Services team and occasionally other departments, such as Startup Programs and Infrastructure Services for program development and reporting.
Qualifications, Education, and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Five (5) plus years of experience in project management, preferably within consulting or professional services.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
- Experience with startups and/or high-growth companies preferred.
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Experience managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and forecasting future project costs. Familiarity with identifying and mitigating project risks is crucial.
- Experience in a client-facing role, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring that deliverables meet client expectations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 - 95,000 (based on years of experience and qualifications)
- To allow BRITE to set salaries based on market data and internal equity, and to ensure fair and equal pay for every role, we offer our best offer first
- All employees are expected to work a set number of weekends and evening hours per year due to organizational-wide events.
